Click per injection is a sophisticated form of click spam. When publishing (or accessing) an app that installs and listens to broadcasts, fraud publishers can see when other apps are being downloaded and trigger clicks before an installation is complete. As a result, the fraud publisher earns unjustified commissions (CPI) for the installs.
Without such adequate tools, third parties can use click injection via a junk app at a crucial point in time (and with the right information) to generate fake "ad clicks" which will then be commissioned as a valid install.
